Heliguy.com - FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Is using my credit card on the Internet safe?

Very good question. When you place and order on my site be it Paypal or Protx I never actually see you credit card digits. These are VERY SECURE sites their entire business depends on that security.

Personally I would rather hand over my sacred credit card details to a faceless computer database than a telephone operator or waiter in a restaurant anyday! Think about this...a waiter actually takes your credit card, dissappears, and comes back 5 minutes later. They could photocopy that card front and back in that time.

Can you take payment over the phone?

Yes we can certainly but please read this first... Ordering online is quicker, safer and easier for you and for us. Your order will have no mistakes because you wrote it yourself, you receive an invoice immediately and your credit card details never come into contact with a human being and are destroyed as soon as they are encrypted and verified...

If you still want to take the order over the phone then we totally understand and we can arrange for Gillian to call right now. Please click the live support image below and ask to be called immediately.

I´m not sure what type of helicopter to purchase for a gift?

I know it is a difficult choice as we have so many different types on offer, try reading the buyers guide this will give you an idea about price, size, type and whether there is much work involved to get the model flying.

Otherwise we can suggest what we think would suit you depending on your budget and needs. Click on a live operator to talk, if you want the operator to call you then ask them, they will be more than pleased to help you out.

I have decided I can´t afford the helicopter and wish to return it, what should I do?

As long as you are have only had ownership of the helicopter for 7 days and have not used it, you can return it for a refund minus administration charges. For detailed information on cancellations and how to return click the highlighted text.

I am buying a gift for a birthday or Xmas, how does the return policy work?

Most of our models are flight tested, but during peak times this isn´t always possible so we ask that you do a basic check to ensure it is working, this will avoid disappointment. If you haven´t got time to do this then it is OK, we take the Xmas period into consideration and help you with any problems you may encounter once the gift is opened.

What forms of payment do you take?

We´ll take just about anything, 10 goats, 2 cows, anything! We except credit cards, debit cards, cheque, postal order, bank transfer and paypal payments. These options are given to you when you enter our quick checkout process. Slow methods such as cheque can still be used to reserve items for a set number of days.

Have you got any customer testimonials?

Whyiman, we´ve got loads! The common themes are amazing speed of delivery, fast spares support, no silly postage prices and good after sales support.

We want your custom and we´ll work hard to keep it! Customer testimonials here.

VAT issues...

If you are in the UK based in the Channel Islands - you do not pay VAT - select Channel Islands on checkout. If you are based in Europe in the Aland Islands (Finland) and Canary Islands (Spain) you do not pay VAT, there are options for these countries on checkout as well.

BFPO addresses are NOT entitled to VAT discount even if it is forwarded onto Iraq or Afghanistan - these rules are set by the Government (sorry).
