The cam is a Russian job 31x31mm square, 31mm long.
The TX is 30x28x5mm.
Total weight for cam & tx = 26.2gms
Photo one shows the home made TX design & circuit board with a switchmode psu built on the back of the PCB, (ignore the TX pic, the new one has a proper pcb)
Photo two shows roughly how I will physically pair the two modules, TX behind the cam PCB.
I looked at FlyCam2, but think it's a bit heavy. Plus can't fly remote with it.
For FPV flying (hopefully) I'll be using these LCD video glasses. These are 640x480 resolution, which gives fairly good detail...
Well thats the kit I want to fit, have to juggle some new design psu's to run this lot, but total power required is quite low so no real problem.
Also, considering a 'Rear view' cam, the camera's will toggle over if I go in reverse flight, there will only ever be one camera active, so no power issues, just have to add some devious electronics to switch the power and video at the same time, depending on direction. This will add another 13gms.
