Post subject: Brushless main motor upgrade

Hi all,

I have the extreme 380 motor on my HBFP with the GWS DD tail. My question is - if I upgrade to a suitable brushless main motor, will the DD tail motor be suitable? Also, as BL motors seem to prefer 11V, should I be fitting some sort of voltage regulator so I can supply 11V to the motor and 7.4V to everything else?

Or should I just get a HK250GT with belt drive tail and CP?

All comments appreciated Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
