i was out practising and managed to role my hbfp over while running the power up, thought i'd killed the power in time but the throttle was still on a couple of clicks. when i heard the motor straining i powered down fully (a couple of seconds at most..honest
)
i moved inside to get out of the , very slight, wind but when i tried to run the power up i heard and saw the 4 in 1 pop and crackle
so there you go, £40 ish' of my hard earned on a new 4 in 1 and a set of the resetable fuses ordered from heliguy and i'll be back. i'm hoping the resetable fuses will save my new 4 in 1 in the future (i seem to recall a saying about stable doors and bolting horses
)
just 1 question regarding the fuses, they come in pairs, is it worth using 1 on each motor, or, just protecting the main and keeping a spare fuse ??? from what i have read its only the main motor that has issues.
on a positive note, after searching this excellent forum and doing some reading, at least i managed to get my fms software running (thanks everyone
) so at least i can have a play on that till my bits come
