I'm totally new to this stuff and I took a gamble on this as my starter model. Did I go wrong? It hasn't arrived yet, due Monday. If I should be opting for something else PLEASE let me know now!!
I'm attaching a remote CCTV camera to it and want to use it to check rooftops and such. An eye in the sky. I'm handy at electronics and live by the rule "Don't buy it unless you can modify it!"
With that thought in mind what can I do to beef this baby up to over shoot it's specs?
There is nothing I won't try if anyone has some cool ideas for boosting range and speed. I'll double up the battery power right off the bat. Being in the CCTV / ALARM biz I'm always messing with battery power anyway.
As long as this is a stable starter that I can beef up to stupidity I'll be happy. If not I'll return and exchange it for something else. But I don't want to be spending a bunch of money. I've got a 100 bucks into this shipped with the crash lander pods. I didn't see anything eles for the price that looked as good but what do I know??
