Hello all. i am new to heliflying and would aprciate an alternate servo to the ns-05 that came stock on df4#1 after crashing i have striped gears and am capable of replacing the gears but can't find any gear sets to suit ns-05. does anyone know of a simalar size/weight/performing servo that will fit stright into dragonfly4 #1 that has replacment gear sets avalible. also as i did not want to wait for replacment servo i have modifiyed the old one and turned the output shaft (was striped) so that it is running on new teeth. to achive this i had to break the little stop out of the cover so it could turn 360 degrees. then pushed down so the D on the shaft was in the middle but notin the D space of out put shaft. then glued the potentiomter arm onto the output shaft so the servo knows where its center is. seems to be working fine and is just a quick fix. the dam things are through away anyway. why not try and get another go out of it.
