Using a DX6i with ar6200 rx on a belt cp with the esky hh gyro and powertech hps18100 servo on the tail everything else stock for now gonna wait to upgrade all the parts to carbon and cnc which i have but not gonna do it til i crash which truth be told i hope i never do

but fought forever to set this hh gyro up and wouldn't you know it finally clicked after reading millions of post that servo is reverse of the stock 8g servo so i had to flip my gyro upside down so my connection wires are on bottom not the top with label facing tail rotor. also settings for gyro on my dx6i are

rate sw-gyro
0: 48.5
1: 68.5

now with this on mine i have hardly any sub trim needed on rudder, only at 4 to the right as it stands now and heli holds really good gonna see if I can tweak it even better but for those of you struggling with setups like this maybe good place to start. I know it won't be the same for everyone because of linkages and other stuff maybe good place to start though.

my little step by step guide hope it helps someone:(this is assuming you already have parts on heli and tried them out)

1. Find correct position of gyro

2. make sure flap/gyro toggle on Tx is in up position which is 0 for normal mode.

3. set servo in a position on the tail boom so that your bearing mount canal is pretty well centered on the tail shaft for now hopefully you already have servo horn at 90 if not adjust it.

4. with Tx gyro setting at 50% run heli in open area just enough to give you a slight hover when doing this if you have any spinning you will need to ajust the servo up or down the tail boom depending on which way you are spinning use your bearing canal on your tail shaft as a guide point to help you.

5. now under gyro settings on Tx start adjusting the 0: 50% to a lower number you can do little at a time, what your looking for is the servo giving you the most movement from side to side on the tail shaft with out any binding you can sub trim out any of the binding as well at this point if you want .

6. try small hovering with heli again see if you have minimal spinning and adjust subtrim or trim to fix any spin

7. for hh mode on the Tx increase the 1: 50% higher and do this so that you get the bet side to side on tail shaft with minimal servo creep so basically find a number that holds you to one side or the other without returning you to center. Get it as close as you can and remember to let off rudder stick slowly once you get it close you can subtrim to get rid of servo creeping.

8. try out heli in small hover again if your heli tail is swinging back and for then you will have to find a different gyro percent and redo your sub trims other than that it should hold pretty still for for you.

9. if for some reason heli is spinning out of control start again at step one check that gyro postioning.

Final thought I really love the combo of the esky hh gyro with the powertech hps18100 and DX6i having only a walkera 53-1 before my belt cp, it truly helps me out. Anyway Not too much infor but I hope it helps someone out with a setup like mine or close to it. Feel free to add anything I forgot.
