Post subject: Extreme Motor...current draw
Quote
Ok I have got my self an extreme motor for my DD Fp and have made a little discovery.

I fuse modded my heli some time ago after blowing a 4-in-1. Was testing the new motor and set up on my test rig today. One of my tests is running it at full power for 30 sec to see what happens. What happens with the extreme motor is this. Both times after about 5sec the 7.5amp fuse I use blew !!!

I have noticed a few people have had there 4-in-1 die with this motor and have blamed it on a wire shorting it out. I am not so sure. Has anyone measured the current draw for the extreme motor ?

Mine was run in on 2 aa bateries.
