I went out this evening and it was very gusty. I wouldn't have normally flown, but I really wanted to see how well the tail held in those conditions with my new GY401.

Well I've got to say, I'm mightily impressed with this gyro.

Even when the Heli was thrown sideways by 5 or 6 feet the tail never moved.

I know they're not cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I'm not sure if they're hungrier that the Esky HH but my flight time was reduced by about 15%. Then again, that could have been due to fighting against the wind.

with the standard 1000mah battery, Stock RX and Esky HH I used to get approx 6 1/2 minutes
with AR6200 RX and GY401 I now get just over 5

I guess a decent UBEC might help here
