Anyhow, upon installing the 3rd ESC, I decided to tidy up the stock receiver antenna through and around the provided antenna tube. Powered up the Tx and then plugged the battery and everything went AWOL. Was stumped for a moment. Unplugged the motor and tried it again and the servos were twitching like crazy. At that point, I assumed the receiver was fried.
Got a new receiver at the local store and it seemed fine when we tested it (antenna uncoiled). Came home, tidied up the antenna again and now, the gyro won't calibrate. I get a constant red flash and the servos aren't responding. Reading the other posts, these are indications of the rudder trim or the Tx not switched on. Clearly not the case for me. I'm guessing this receiver's fried as well.
Has anyone come across these symptoms on the receiver? Or what would cause the servos to have a life of its own? I'm an aero flyer and these look more like Tx interference issues which led me to the fried receiver conclusion.
Help.... frustrated in Singapore!
