If you are not sure if you have a MODE 1 or MODE 2 Transmitter /TX /Radio the easy way to tell is the throttle is the one that is NOT spring loaded and will travel up and down without springing back when you let go out it.

Please note that the Rudder control is the same for both MODE 1 and MODE 2 it is the LEFT and RIGHT movement of the LEFT stick

I assume you are a total beginner so I have included the usual different terms for a transmitter above. Some people also call them controllers.

MODE 1= Throttle on Right MODE 2 Throttle on Left.

The Rudder on both MODE 1 and MODE 2 is the left movement of the LEFT stick.
