I broke two of my original servos with a small crash today. The gears are striped now.
I want to get new ones that are faster, stronger and nearly unbreakable. I think metal gear servos shouldnt strip. -Right?
At the moment I am looking forward to the HS 65MG
I know that they are expensive, but I think because they have metal gears they are unbreakable. My opinoin is to rather buy a set of expensive ones and then save money by not having to buy replacements anymore.
First I wanted to get the SG 90's because they are very popular, but I have heard that they get very hot and the gears can break.
I was actually looking at some futaba ones but most of them dont seem to fit.
Here is a list of the ones that I found which should fit (Prices are approx., depending on where you buy them):
TowerPro SG90 -6 Euro
SG 50 -6 Euro
Futaba S3153 -30 Euro
Futaba Servo S3135MG - F1392 -40 Euro
HiTec
HS 45HB -17 Euro
HS 50 -14 Euro
HS 55 -14 Euro
HS 56HB -24 Euro
HS 65HB -24 Euro
HS 65MG -30 Euro
LogicTech 3100G Digital Servo -35Euro
I only found two from futaba which fit, but they are very expensive and dont even have metal gears. Dont see whats so great about them.
Can anyone add some more servos that fit so that I can compare some more?
Where is the difference between the HiTec ones from HS 45 to 65HB they all seem to have the same technical specs. Only the HS 65MG's have metal gears but also have the same specs again.
Will the HS 65MG's fit perfectly into my belt cp carbon and can I use one with my IMax HL Gyro as a tail servo?
- If anyone has good experiences with some other servos please post in.
