Post subject: HBK2 low throttle is more like half throttle

Hi Everyone, this is my first post on this forum and I'm new to RC helicopters. I got a hbk2 and basically rebuilt it with CNC, dx6i / ar6200, esky 3900 with esky 25A esc. Tinkering for me was half the reason to get into this hobby.

In any case, now that I have the heli all put together again I'm finding it a little too responsive on the throttle. With the dx6i i have the throttle all the way down and the trim centered. If I move the throttle up just a touch the heli kicks on pretty hard and spins in circles because of the instant torque, after about 5 seconds the tail gets a chance to fight back and straighten it out again.

When I first got this RTF I was able to ramp up the speed in a more stable and controlled fashion and I'd like to get it back to that point. I re-binded my dx6i after setting it up so that it would know what low throttle was and I searched for info on the esky 25a esc and found no details on programming it other than the brake (which is off).

Is there anything else that I could check to get this setup better? I changed everything at once so it is difficult for me to single out components. Hoping others on this forum have more experience Smile

Thanks!

Dan
