hi guys im just starting into the heli scene i have had rc cars for a couple of years off roaders nitro and electric thought i would try my hand at the helis. i bought a small heli to practice on an rc systems easy fly v2 expert and after a couple of weeks just learning to hover im getting on not to bad at it, but however i have had a couple pf crashes broke the rotors and the skids so bought a new set which before fitting i made some mods on and sort of made a suspension so that on the hard landings while learning i dont break them also i put some wide selotape around the rotors to give them a we bit more give. the heli still flys ok and its working well. i thought i would be a wee bit to old to be starting this but im looking forward to moving on to the next stage i have only flown indoors so stil quite a novice any sujestions on which is the best heli to upgrade to i have a budget of about £150 to £200 i want to stay electric. i hope to get into the helis in a big way but have to walk before i can run and learning to fly is not going to be easy especialy at 50 years old. hope to hear from you all soon John (JJ)
