Hi All,

I recently had a problem with lift on my belt CP. The motor was just juddering and then would cut out (no lift)
-It looked like either the gears were not meshing (they are fine) or that maybe one of the coils had blown.

To test, I thought if I disconnected ONE of the motor wires at a time I would be able to tell if the motor moves and hence if there is a problem with the motor.
Oops! -Smoked the ESC when the throttle went on!

-is this coincidence? -Now I have a new ESC I don't want to just plug and hope so anybody got any advice how to test if the motor is OK? (it spins as expected).
-And the new ESC does not have colour coded motor output wires (its a Sonix 30A), so do I presume that colour coding isn't important for motor drive (guess if Red\Blue are reversed motor would spin in reverse?) Confused

As allways, you help is appreciated!

Matt
