Some may find this funny, interesting or maybe even irresponsible. I have only be into rc heli’s about a year now, I don’t have any “real heli’s” just small FP and CCP’s.
I still had my first heli a Lama V3. Yesterday morning I thought it would be fun to see how high I could get it even if it resulted in a crash. I live out of town.
I got it up to about 500’ plus! It even went through a cloud! Then the head wind increased and I could not bring it back toward me so I kept climbing till it went out of site and I never saw it again. I estimate that it must have been at least 1000’ and a ¼ mile away from me the last time I saw it!
How High Can They Go.......
