Hi!
As I played around a long time with my Esky HH-Gyro, I will try t give you some recommendations, how to adjust everything, to get the best out of Piezo-type-Gyros...

1. Is your rear servo perfectly positioned? See later - it is more than important!
2. Have you strong vibrations? They will let the gyro go mad!

3. How to set up:

- Connect your Gyro as recommended, and also use the single control cable.

- Switch on everything in HH-Mode and wait 3 Minutes to warm up the electrics.
- Now correct any servoarm-creep as good as possible with the trim of your TX.

Therefore play a little bit left and right around, check the servo creep, trim a bit and so on. If the servoarm is in a fine more or less stable position REMEMBER THIS TRIM SETTING!!! You will need it on EVERY flight!

- At that moment it is time to go for a perfect position of your tailservo. Switch to normal-mode and start flying. If your tail turns to one side, reposition the servo - DO NOT TOUCH THE TRIM!! It's a long job, to find a perfect tailservo position, but the job is worth it - definitely.

- When the tail of your heli is as stable as possible with no drift, bring the Heli back to the ground. Switch to HH-Mode and check again servo-creep. If there is some creep, that can be reduced via trim, do so - but don't forget then, to check the servo-position again during a testflight in normal mode...
- After repeatment of this procedure twice or so, your tail and your gyro should be adjusted, as good as a Piezo-Gyro can be adjusted. You will always have some temperature drift, but now you have at least the best starting point you can get.

- FINALLY: Switch to HH-Mode and enjoy your flight - I'm quite sure that your Heli will fly very stable now... (otherwise there must be strong vibrations I guess!!)
- AND: Do not touch the trim!!!!! You can correct a bit the temperature drift, but remember that "perfect" position, you have used before... and use it at your next flight!

Greetings,
Joerg - who is now the happy owner of a driftless and superstable SMM-Gyro... *smile*
