Take off the flybar by removing the single link and taking it out of its seating:-
Its not necessary to remove the blade grips but I've included it anyway.
To strip down the Lama Click here and scroll down to the bottom.
Disconnect the single link on the stabilizer bar
Undo the two screws below:-
Put these in a safe place so you won't lose the screws:-
This is what your left with!:-
Now remove your Battery:-
Carefully unscrew the two screws on the Collet:-
Then gently pull it off again put this in a safe place:-
Pull off the drive wheel:-
This is what you'll see:-
Gently pull out the inner shaft:-
After inserting the new one replace the Drive Wheel and collet screws and make sure they are in contact with the flats as below:-
Make sure the screws below are in contact with the 'flats' above, you will need to put a bit of pressure on the inner shaft from the top while your doing this:-
Give the shaft a spin by hand to make sure nothing is binding - replace the battery and you are all done
remember part number EK1 0315 is the inner shaft that drives the top rotor blades.
