Heliguy Forum - RC heli forum

Having a normal day flying round the garden and for the first time ever i experienced what i can only assume is the lama death roll.. (id been trying to compensate for the TB effect earlier).. anyway i must have managed to land exactly upside down, cos when i took off, the heli had almost no power, which i thought was strange considering that on the last flight it shot to 3rd story level in about ten secs. looking at the heli, i noticed smoke coming out of the canopy, so pulled the LiPo out as quick as i could, and skidded it across the garden to the middle of the bricks.. thankfull it only smoked for a while, and didnt explode like some of the other stories on here.. anyway, yet another tip for noobies, like myself (and experts) is to watch out for the inner shaft, as if you dont tighter it up properly it will spear through the lipo... (this only applies to people who have done the extended inner shaft mod...

anyway, must go and wash hands, as that LiPo stuff burns...
