Right i have been given an opportunity to build and test fly a E-sky Carbon Belt thanks joel
I guess the belt range is e-sky's challenge to the T-rex 450 which i have 2 of i have an XL and an SE v1 so the challenge is on
this is my belt carbon
this is whats in the box:
the box says this helicopter is a kit however the as you can see the helicopter frame, head and tail are already built.
right the first bad bit i read the manual that comes with the helicopter and well i had to read it 3 times before I could believe how bad it is. I think a chocolate tea pot is more helpful
Right fitting the skids these are the skids and the screws.
the black / long screws go in the back throught the tailboom support and frame the sliver ones in the front through the frame and into the cross tubes.
Next is the motor now the thing i find odd is unlike the T-rex the belt does not come with a motor the motor i'm fitting is a just go fly 4000kv 95% eff with a 11t pinion! it fits direct to a mount.
the pinnon to main gear meshing is done by slotted holes in the frame and moving the motor mount.
motor now mounted
next thing i fitted was the servo's i'm using hitec 55 all round there Allen key screws and nuts for the rear servo's and the front servo uses screws already fitted.
the next thing i fitted was the Rx I'm using a hitec dual conversion 7 channel one which i decided to fit here.
i attached it through the frame with cable ties seems nice tight now!
then i fitted the clear plastic areial tube to the skids
then i ran the aerial to the tube round it then back through and attached it to the fin with a rubber band.
this is as far as i have got will post the rest over the weekend hopfully but I'm still waiting for my ESC to arrive
regards
