I had a pretty big and quite dramatic crash a little while ago (you can read about it here).
When the heli was stuck in the tree, I tried to use the throttle to get the heli to fall down…

Some of the damage was: The motorplate was bent and the whole front of the heli was broken. Ouch!

After rebuilding the heli, I have found out that my helicopter has very little power during flight.
The heli behaves totally normal in every other way. The Cyclic response is totally normal.
Tried 4 different batteries.

In “idle up” when I go from midstick and increase the throttle the motor LOOSES power. I have a 100-80-100 throttle curve. The tail kicks out even in normal hover.
I have an external BEC connected to the main battery.

Obviosly the heli has trouble with getting enough/keeping the head speed.

There is no binding in the drive train. It takes 21 seconds for the rotorblades to stop after hitting throttle hold in “Idle up”.

First I thought my Scorpion motor was damaged, but I got the same behavior with my 430L motor.

Is my culprit the ESC? Have anyone experienced a ESC that seems to work, but is not able to supply the power the motor needs anymore?
