I just recently finished the "Shizzle" mod, but on test flight the shaft on the motor snapped after one short hover. I replaced 4000kv Brushless with a 3400kv Turnigy. Set the tail on the turntable and took it outside for a flight. Powered up to 50% and started to get lift gave it a bit more and lift off followed by my first invert! from 6 inches off the deck. Fixed it up same again, over on to its back!!!!
My brackets for the mod where made of Aluminium alloy, not highly conductive, but enough to hit the right note at high RPM to stuff everything. You live and learn the hard way with this heli. I'll now try using some thing different for the brackets.
Anyone else come across this???? What materials do you use???
Cheers Al
