had my first one snap today and was quite a frightening experience, lucky I was only about 20ft up then lost all drive to the rotors, couldn`t even auto it as no drive 
but fortunatly it just sort off fell straight down and bounced a bit on the skids and ended up upright, no damage 
Bolt had sheared off either side of the main shaft an left a bit inside it, it has a nice stainless steel T rex bolt in it now so hopfully it will last a bit better than the black japaned one
I should really replace them when doing a main shaft but you know how it is, if it looks ok, use it again so BE WARNED.
