List of components of the upgrade:-
You must use loctite on all screw fittings
The parts below are both referred to as the Central Holder:-
Total weight of the CNC upgrade is 18.7grams.
Fitting the Upgrade:-
I will assume your Lama has been stripped down like the picture below:-
If not Click here and scroll to bottom
Clip the original long links onto the swashplate or you can leave these until later:-
Start by sliding the swashplate over the shaft:-
Now slide the Central Holder down the outer shaft:-
Next push the long links through the Central Holder:-
(Long links not shown in above picture)
Lets's get them blades holders upgraded:-
Unscrew the old blade holders and replace with the upgrade:-
Take out the two small screws and put them in a safe place:-
Make sure that all the screws are tightly in place.
Flybar Fitting:-
If you have not already done so, remove the two screws, and again put them in a safe place (preferably stuck to a magnet!)
Make sure the link above is clipped onto the ball socket as shown below:-
Then replace the cap and insert the screws making sure that the screw holes are lined up:-
Your top blade upgrade is now complete:-

Please pay attention here as this is the most important step!
Let's get rid of that gap as shown in the picture above:-
Push up the central holder:-
Final Completion:-
Take your inner shaft:-
And push it through the collar below:-
Then through the outer shaft:-
Now locate the collar in line with the hole in the drive wheel:-
Replace the drive wheel:-
This is best done with the inner shaft slightly pulled out - you will need to have the Lama turned upside down and pressing down slightly on the drive wheel while tightening up the screws
Upgrade Finished!
Now before you go and connect the battery to try you upgrade you really need to go back and recheck every single screw, please heed this if nothing else.
Now spin both the top and bottom blade around by hand to make sure that nothing is binding.
