Hi people hope this is posted in right place, have just brought a two channel Syma Dragonfly 9083 heli for some fun. It came with a 650 mAh 7.2 volt 6 AAA battery hump & yes you guessed it after a very short time the battery is flat.
I'am pretty handy with a solder iron & was thinking of making up my own battery cell with some 1000 mAhs to give it some more staying power, but what i really wanted to know was could i increase the voltage also at all, if so by how much before it cooks the reciever etc.. I think it has a 370 motor what ever that means & the charger that came with it says on data badge output: DC 7.2v / 250mA if this helps?
Before you say dont bother chuck in bin, before that i would like to have some fun with this one before maybe buying more dearer heli ! Many thanks for any help in advance !!
