WELCOME TO ALL
below is a step by step guide to assist removal of the honeybee cp2 main shaft.

MAIN SHAFT REMOVAL

1 remove the main blades to make life a little easier.

2 remove the linkages from the swash plate to the fly bar (the longest links)

3 remove the two oval type links from the swash plate to the fly bar.

4 withdraw the small pin at the bottom of the rotor head assembly and pull the rotor head off the shaft.

5 loosen the small grub screw on the collet below the swash plate.

6 hold the main drive wheel in place and push (tap) the main shaft down (towards the skids).

7 remove the small pin that is now visible below the main drive gear.

8 withdraw the main drive gear then pull the shaft up through the top of your heli .

9 if it is bent too much you will need to remove the links from the servos to the swash plate and take the swash plate off then gently ease the shaft through the bearings.

the above method saves dissmantling the whole rotor head.

TO REMOVE THE FEATHERING SHAFT(between the blade holders)

1 remove the blades (both of them)

2 inside the blade holders are two screws with hex heads (1.5 mm alan key)

3 with two keys one in each bolt undo (anticlockwise) the bolts (might be tight if locktite or similar has been used).

4 remove the blade holder by pulling it off the shaft look out for the small washer behind the holder (if you loose this the bearing sits against the rubber 'o' ring abd causes sticking collective).

5 pull the shaft through the tube (remember to catch the washer and 'o' ring.

6 hold the shaft in a set of plyers with a little card / rag to prevent damaging the shaft and undo the remaining screw, pull off the blade holder , washer and 'o' ring.

assembly is the reverse just make sure you smear a little grease on the 'o' rings and make sure the washer faces the correct way(slightly raised side against the blade holdes)
