It took me 4 hours to build the head, but I was unable to get pics as I was camera less. So here are some finished build pics.
TIP Make sure you get the correct case for the ball rase bearing, the one with the larger inner diameter goes in 1st nearest to the head block.
Then insert the main shaft, with washout and swashplate.
Next is the main frame assembaly.
TIP When installing the A-arm bearing, if you get it stuck (like I did
Then after a bit more sanding insert the other side
Then put in the electronics plate, main frame supports and main gears.
TIP It's quicker and easier to take one side (3) of the self tapping screws out of the 3rd bearing block than to struggle getting the bottom gear in, ALSO add some grease where the washer sits in the lower gear to hold it in position. Then when its all in place put back the 3 self tapping screws in the 3rd bearing block.
Thats all i' ve done so far, I will see how much of the tail I can assemble, with pics and tips.
