Greetings All,
I have a Castle Creations Phoenix 35 that I would like to use with my stock Belt CP to replace the ESky unit. My transmitter is the stock unit number EK2-0406A. I have used many Phoenix speed controllers on fixed wing stuff but not rotating wing. I also have the Castle Creations USB programming link.
I installed the Phoenix 35 but prior to going through the USB link set up procedure I called Castle Creations and asked about the compatibility. The tech support said that using the Phoenix 35 with the stock ESky transmitter would be very difficult to set up. Said that I would need a computer transmitter in order to use the Phoenix 35 on the Belt and would need to be very familiar with the various "curve" programming capability in the transmitter. Which I am not.
I would appreciate inputs from anyone with experience on this issue.
Different item. I am a newbie to helicopters and have constantly referred to this forum for help. I am now hovering quite comfortably and would like to give a sincere thanks to all the people who post here and answer all the questions, frequently the same question time and again. Not only a sincere thanks but a BIG thanks.
Bernie
