Getting a bit off topic, aren't we?

Anyway, a couple of comments regarding the previous posts: As for zero or negative G's in a teetering two-bladed rotor head heli, better have your life insurance ...

I was in aviation as a fixed wing and heli pilot/AME for a decade and a half, with my primary interest definitely leaning towards the heli end of things.

As for learning to fly one, do you have any ...

The Extreme blade failure was noted on the V1 versions, easy to determine based on the cutout near the root. The V2 eliminated this cutout and made the blade solid, hopefully getting rid of the nasty ...

I use alloy tube for my braces and have never had any interference problems. What you need to look for is metal to metal contact where the parts can move in relation to each other or vibrate together. ...

Flying was fun, (IF you dressed for it. Found out the hard way the heater ducting for your feet was th ...

I flew close to 170+ flights on my King with HXT900 servos before one failed and took it down so, as you said, for $4 I can't complain

I've posted this many times before, but here is the short again.

As you found, the left drift is normal, due to the side thrust of the tail.

The easiest and simplest fix is to lengthen the Left ...

Yep, can confirm the HXT900's are the better servo for the swash, (however, they warn to NOT use one for the tail app).

Some very slight modding required to make them fit. Instructions here:

Normal flying is from approx -6 to + 10 degrees pitch range.

IDLE UP is -10 to + 10 degrees.

Unless you have a programmable radio system, the only way to get more range would be to run the links ...

However, there are several other things to look for:

Check is that your rudder trim is also ce ...

Drifting to the left in a hover is normal and due to the side thrust from the tail rotor.

The easiest cure is to lengthen the LEFT REAR servo-to-swash link ONE FULL TURN, (all positions are referen ...
