I had the same problem with lift. Despite pitch guage being correct the HBK2 just wouldn't lift just skid about. Found upgrading motor to brushless and adding 11t pinion gear solved it. Also check ...

It always amazes me how people have cnc etc yet still have the training gear on Laughing

Still pretty windy up here in Fife, and back garden is "compact", hence my reluctance to remove training gear ...

I use a bicycle spoke cut down to size. Nice and cheap and fits perfectly! Very Happy

It's a 3100 motor with 9T gear mech.
Servos run smoothly - yes, I've had to replace 2 of those as well!
