Make sure the gear from the motor is engaging fully... it's often a problem with the lower gear ...

I used to have the same problem, till I shimmed one end of the motor mount so that it engaged slightly tighter against the cog. It's not stripped a gear since.

I would recommend the Xtreme productions blades. They aren't indistructrable, but are MUCH tougher.

Remember that they can normally be unbent with a little care, so keep the old one as a spare.

Whilst you are looking, you can cut a length of wire to the same length, and so long as it's straight, it will work fairly well. That's what I use after my Son broke my aerial.

You might be able to fit a motor speed controller to one of the servo outputs to a lama 4 in 1, and use that to drive the rear motor... A bit overkill for a £40 heli though! Might be worth asking on ...

Do you put your lama on to a flat surface when you plug it in? The Gyro needs to be level and stationary before being started up.

You can change mode by fiddling with the hidden switches in you battery compartment. There was a guide to doing it on the 0406 TX somewhere, and it should be the same for the 0404.
