I would say, the heavier the batt. the better the Belt flies.
It is more stable as there is more weight hanging on the blades.

I took a look on my dip switches and both on white sockets are down for mode 2!
On the red sockets one is on the other off for flying. If I reverse both I am ready for the sim with this settings. So ...
