I've been very pleased with my 4S (I have the 3A model), but did feel the packaging was a bit lame, so I reboxed it as shown [url=http://www.heliguy.com/Forum/sticking-the-cell-pro-4s-in-a-decent-box- ...

agree analogue less power hungry than digital but don't agree that lower voltage necessarily good.. lower voltage usually means higher amperage => more heat in the wires..

Lower voltage will r ...

I'm not good enough to be using idle up for 3D (yet?) but I find it helps stability a lot when it's windy. Just because you have idle-up setup doesn't mean you have to use it of course.

I have the ...

The fact that adjusting the tension by moving the tail assembly messes up the servo linkage length is enough justification for me to stick with adjusting the boom length at the front. I used to have t ...

Having tried both 5V and 6V on a 2100T with small servos (eg S3153, FS61BB etc) I can report that there is a noticable difference. The gyro will be OK at 6V, but the servos will generally suffer. Tail ...

The truthful answer is... It depends...

Servos pack quite a bit into a small package. Whilst they can deliver high torque and react rapidly, which is ideal for tail servos, doing so requires high c ...

The S3154 simply doesn't live up to its spec. Speak to Ripmax, the UK importer and they'll tell you that the minimum frame period for that servo is 3.33ms. Mine died using a 2100T which has a minimum ...

Firstly setup the rudder channel as per the manual (ie end points at 140% and dual rate to 100%). Now, make sure that the gyro is in rate mode. You should be able to get full range of travel with the ...

Yet another one bites the dust! S3154 servos clearly like being treated as digital servo; I had the same problem, and then replaced it with an S3153 which was much better. I now use an S9257 and it is ...

With the gyro in rate mode try moving the rudder very slowly from one end of travel to the other. Does it hesitate and then jump to catch up and some point? I had this happen to a tail servo once when ...

I strongly recommend that you do the rate mode setup or you'll get a bounce, one way or the other, at the end of a piro.
