I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'over-reacting to much'. Is this in Hor Mode? What settings did you try changing?

You should be able to use the F mode switch in conjunction with Travel Adjust to select the different HC modes.
Negative values for HOR mode, positive values for POS mode - each running from 0 - 100% ...

Sounds like you may need to check your swash mix settings on your Tx. Reverse the Elevator setting if its +ve to -ve.
