As you already have the DX6i I would personally wait and save up for a 401 or 2100T, cost more but you would not regret it.

Just get the kit mate the stock motor does its job just fine, including 3D. If your comeing from a HBK2 you will have a right good time with a stock 500, you will not be disapointed at all !!

Agree a well setup belt works just fine.

If your set on keeping your stock Tx then i would go with the 240 gyro. But I would definatly get a decent Tx first as advised, like a DX6i, this would IMO ...
