I think the Trex kits are sold with a 15 amp ESC, so you should be fine mate. Give it a try.

I got 4 KDS gyros on my 450 V2, V2 LE, 450 Pro and 250 (all Tarot, so cheap and cheerful Wink) been flying 6 months or so, and they have been great.

I'll test my ESC power consumption to confirm tomorrow and see what's being drawn, but I've been told an 18amp ESC is fine for the 250 motor and I got a fast one Wink

Normal

I've never used the stock charger, as I got a six and a three way charger adaptor for my B6 charger. But I will put the stock charger back in the case.

I had similiar issues with my 4g3 and I ended up changing the ESC. If I powered up slow then all good, above 1/2 throttle was a no no.

You say power loss? Is the led on, on the RX? Tail motor worki ...

Have you tried a ferrite ring on the lead that goes from the ESC to the RX. I've noticed some are sold with them, and some aren't!!

I had this with my first 450 V2 and ended up replacing the servos ...

Yeap I got a DS520 in my Pro with a 401 copy gyro. Not tested it yet, but the DS420 (520 little brother) and same gyro on my 250 is absolutely great.

There are some nice helis out there makes me want more. Phil I have my servo on the other side but of course it is there to save from a boom strike but I still have not had a boom strike that close ...

Don't be to sure with you B6 charger. I bought my B6 from Heliguy also and it was just as bad as a clone. Even overcharged my lipo's somtimes. Lucky for me Heliguy exchange it for me no problem.

I bought a Imax B6 charger from Heliguy and it has been great. Paid £65 for it, in a nice case, but takes care of all my battery charger requirements. Does Lipo / Nicads and so on.

I didn't like the plastic tab arrangement, so bought some M2 nylon nuts from ebay. £4 I think for 20 (including postage and arrived next day Wink) but they don't come undo and require locktite!!
