Get 3~5° Pitch at the throttle position where ever you want to lift off, and corresponding throttle curve so that the Heli doesn't bog.

You can just put in a 11T pinion and go 90% flat curve. That should see you safe. Anyway we never fly full throttle in sport flying and less the full lipo pack RPM is way lower.

T-rex 500 comes close to a 450 in real life. Else you can try putting in Expos and reducing throws etc. in sim.

walkera makes a #4 with brushless motor and tube drive that might be cheaper than what you will spend to convert it.

I learned a lot and did move on to CP's.................. Wink
