i got mine out (quite a few times lol) by putting it on the edge of the kitchen surface and using a small drill bit and a pinn hammer tapped...

it isnt a bolt!
there is a collar around the bottom of the head with a grub screw, remove this first then there is a small pin that goes through the head just tap it through carefully. ...

hi all,

im new to the hh gyro.
ive got a trex 450 with one on it.
after setup i was side on hover in a fairly strong wind and it was rock steady!!

my question is do you just leave it in hh mod ...

thats great,

when i had a stock charger it used to drive me crazy!
it transforms the hobby when you get extra batterys and a decent charger.

as you have idle up inhibited i assume you are still in the early stages of learning.
if i were you i would change the normal throttle to 0,25,50,75,100
also you dont need e and p set to 6 ...

im not quite sure what you mean but when the tx is in mormal mode the gyro should also be in normal mode. if it isnt then you may need to reverse channel 5?

it sounds like your gyro rev/normal switch needs switching the other way, to check plug the rudder servo into the rx bypassing the gyro and see if it moves the tail blades the right way. if it do ...

if you keep the settings for whatever reason dont switch to idle up in the air as you will probably crash.

with a computer tx it dosent matter if the central point is 50%
with a stock tx do it in idle up.

the reciever could have a fault causing a short under vibration or heat? thus zapping the batterys.
what happens if you unplug the motor and power up ?
