there is a push on collett for the leds and optic cable...
will look it up for you...
you can slice into the power cables or buy a joiner...

I use fibre optic in my model trains and model cars... ...

The only place I fly my Lama is outside ... that's where I feel comfortable flying.

My living room isn't that big and if I hit my HDTV I would cry. Laughing In fact ... I just flew 1 1/2 batteries ...

Luckily .... I never had a problem with my flybar flying off and having to search for it.
It would pop off and hang by its ball link ... but that's what it was intended to do so you wouldn't bend you ...

as far as im aware maplin ship worldwide, but dont quote me...

3mm is fine or use fibre optic cable...
one lamp can be many lights then...saves weight too!
plus optic cable from 1mm to 5mm diamit ...

Does Maplin ship to the US?

I did find some 3mm flashing LEDs that don't seem to need any resistors ... though the LED itself is shaped like a square with a normal LED round shape coming off it.

No resistors mate....
Go to Maplin site and the LEDs already have the resistors built in!
and they even flash without any circuitry too!
So no need to worry about weight....

I put a little double sided tape on the support fin. It seems to hold it in place.

Well ... finally got my spare blade grips, X blades, and Xtreme tail support rods.

Flew one friggin battery and lost one of the support rods! Sad I should have glued the rods onto the screw link ...

The Xtreme Extended Inner Shaft (the silver one) might be a worthy upgrade if you want to fly the v3 outside. Prevents almost all blade strikes and honestly doesn't add any notable weight.

The stock motors generally have a longer life than the Xtremes. Some people even swear the power difference is minimal.

Two sets of blades close together + wind or aggressive flying = blades "bend ...
