Strange. It's just a regular analog servo. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work just on the tail. Doesn't make sense does it? Almost everybody I fly with uses them on their helis.....?

They should. But if the Stock servo works you are left with:
New servo is pooched
Servo is running in wrong direction
I can't think of any other reason for this.

I have a Blade 400 main gear installed and noticed the same thing. The sound it makes is very different from that of the stock gear. Beeswax did help reduce the noise though.

Wow! It's amazing how good you can be when there's no choice! I understand the theory of autorotational landings but have never tried it. Good to know it works. Nice save!
