Basically,
Do you need to go separate, or can you plug the tail servo into the 4in1.

Hi Kev,

I think the Direct Drive (DD) tail upgrade will solve the under powered tail.
There's oodles of info on this sprinkled librally across the forum!

put the gain wire into the Gear channel on the RX.

Just a quickie... going brushless and retaining the 4-in-1 is not a real biggie.
