my hovering definately improved when I forgot to put the training gear back on. heli became much lighter and more responsive to cyclic.

I probably ought to know this by now, can someone explain what the numbers 380 (King2?) 400 (BeltCP) 450, 500, 600 etc refer to? I thought this might be motor size like 40, 50 etc size for nitros, but ...

remove bolt from autorotation gear, lift shaft a little, slide out tail drive cog retaining pin, lift gear a bit further, main gear should pull out.

every time i input cyclic or tail the heli loses height. is this normal?

there's no obvious binding and no buzzing from the servos at full extent. the battery is 2400 15c mystery from a well-known ...

I got one of these to replace a 3100 that didn't like to start up. I'm no heli expert but the motor's as strong as a horse and I'm very pleased with it. (I'm no expert on horses either)

I had the same problem, I think the ESC was damaged, possibly by poor soldering at manufacture or perhaps I damaged it by zip-tieing it onto the frame too hard. I fixed the problem by buying a new ESC ...

Thank you, Anti_A. Now you say that it seems obvious of course, coils working with magnets with poles etc but it had me foxed

on the 4000 they're black on a black background but it looks like 8, so ...
