Hi there, check all the connectors on your receiver, make sure they are all pushed in and tight.

The wires from this 'round bit' go into the receiver, the connector here just pushes in. There are no wires to cut.

Answer is yes and after a good hard session my battery gets quite hot. But as Joe says let it cool before putting it on charge.

I doubt it if a full balanced charge is applied to the battery. It's as Joe says your battery will most likely last longer.

Invest in a swashplate levelling tool as well and make sure you get it set up properly. This will also make your 1st steps much much easier.
