Hi Robin.
if I put slight pressure on the arms then move the stick I get reduced movement

Slight pressure should not effect servo throw.

I suspect you have at least one dud servo.

Hi Doug.
Doubt the belt has much to do with the prob, unless it is really way out.
If you have lowered the throttle curve and still running a high pitch curve you may find it bogs down.

I can't think of any other reason why the servos would work ok without the head spinning, but not when it is. Unless you have a bad connection that only shows when there are vibrations?

See my new post " DS75H servos going ..."

You need to undo the linkage and turn the servos by hand to feel for slipping or sticking. Running them with no pressure will not usually prove anything.

Watch the direction the tail blade is angled. Right stick will tilt the blades to push air to the right - (and left stick left)- on any head-driven heli tail. Seen from the tail of course.
