i wonder if it is the crystal that's kaput. my thinking being it would be a lot cheaper to replace the crystal than the Tx. Confused

mine heats around the Tx crystal, especially when playing the sim. a few times i took the crystal out when i was playing the sim because of the heat. i don't think it's a problem though.

seems the pots on the esky TXs is a common problem. me and my mate both suffer with this, strangely his HBFP which uses the same kind of TX is fine.

anyhoo, apart from cleaning the pots the best so ...

they come in all sorts of diameters, the one i used is 13mm. it is light too, works out 3g lighter than the original tail.

i used a plastic tube from one of my aquariums to make a boom tail. it is light weight, 3g lighter than the original tail and wont break in a crash. if you have an aquarium shop near by check them out ...

I know the long duration of fly without some minutes rest, the motors going burn but If I buy a heli for enjoyment and want to some minutes make me happy than continuous fly is perfect for me.

Eagle, sorry to doubt you my friend, but are you sure you can get 14-15 mins constant flight time, did you time that accurately? if so then you are getting much better flight times than most by 30-50 ...
