i wonder if it is the crystal that's kaput. my thinking being it would be a lot cheaper to replace the crystal than the Tx.

| mine heats around the Tx crystal, especially when playing the sim. a few times i took the crystal out when i was playing the sim because of the heat. i don't think it's a problem though. | |

| seems the pots on the esky TXs is a common problem. me and my mate both suffer with this, strangely his HBFP which uses the same kind of TX is fine.
