HBFPs fly better with tight blades but it takes a bit of practice before you can straighten them to the correct position.
They don't fly out to the correct position if they are loose due to low head ...

It is a dying tail motor and the reason you didn't have the problem before is the new main motor is producing more power, so more torque.

That's an easy one. CP2s can't be upgraded. None of the ESky helicopters can be upgraded and none of them are worth wasting money on. If you're lucky you'll get a good one. Flip a coin.

The gyro isn't brilliant and a dying tail motor won't help.
Have you tried holding in some right rudder as it spools up?

The base-loaded short aerial is the neatest and safest solution.
Wrapping the wire around the skids will shorten the range and as the OP says, any dangling wire is a hazard.
