Heliguy shop says not to mount it flat as the stock gyro was so have mounted it on side of fuselage

New gyro doesnt have a normal or reverse switch just a gain screw. should I fiddle with that!?

I was wondering if the horizontal fin on the tail boom adds to the tail heavy problem as the rotor wash would hit it forcing it down??
