A good alternative to the stock esky main is is the Blade 400 gear. It is a straight drop in replacement and better quality IMO. Cheaper as well.

Looks ok to me but you may find it hard to get pinions for a 3.14mm shaft. Seems a strange size to me.

I use a very fine file and give the black plastic strengthener thingy a good hit. I do it on most of my blades if they appear at all tight.

I would be running the 3154 at 5v there are lots of stories about fried servos due to voltage. My 9257 is only 5v so I run my entire system the same just to be sure.
