| Test the voltage on the lead or connect a low power 12v bulb to check for voltage. If you can pair the TX / RX with with a spare battery, sounds like your ESC is broken.

| The power comes from the ESC, that's what the BEC does isn't it?
No need for any extra power. My ESC connects to throttle channel and that's it. Hope this helps, Phill |

Tail & servos are sorted, well their in there and in line. 
I had to take the pitch servo out to fit the belt, the servo was getting in the way. This is what I mean about arrse ... |
