Ive been flying now for 3 weeks with my first heli a Belt CP. During the first week I had a crash. During the repair process I learnt a lot and the heli has been flying very nice ever since. During the repair process I diagnosed that the PIT servo striped it's gears so replaced them. A few flights after the crash repair the ELEV servo just stopped working from one flight to the next for no apparent reason. I thought it probably got damaged in the crash a few days prior but only reviled the fault later. Any way, I fixed it.
Now a week later (+_18 flights later) the ELEV servo again just stoped working, once more for no apparent reason. As I had no spares and desperately wanting to fly I striped the servo and found the small red wire from the servo micro board that supplies the servo motor had come looses. So I soldered it back on and all is well once more.
My question is, How is this possible? Have I just had some bad luck or are the E-sky servos just bad quality? I never thought they could be this bad. When should they need replacing? Do they need replacing? Should I replace the servos, receiver and transmitter before I have a serious cash and big losses?
Thanks once more for all the help!
